POWER FACTOR CORRECTION (ACTIVE LINE FILTER)

16 DIGIT LED DISPLAY:
It include a membrane keypad in order to activate different functions, like:
Multi-language menu
System diagnostic
DMX addressing
DATA LOG (hour counter for lamp/ballast operation, record of diagnostic status)
Output Frequency set up (for high speed electronic shutter in PAL or NTSC)

LOCAL, REMOTE AND DMX CONTROL:
3 position selector allows the choice between the above controls
DMX IN & OUT connectors are located on a protected receptacle
In DMX mode it is possible to control the ballast ON/OFF and DIMMER functions

LOW NOISE & FLICKER FREE SELECTOR

SELF ADJUSTING COOLING SYSTEM:
Silent fans are normally operated at low speed and quitely. In case the ballast is exposed to high temperature, the fans are increasing their speed to guarantee the proper cooling.

DUAL POWER OUTPUT WITH AUTOMATIC SELECTION

OUTPUT SHORT CIRCUIT & ARC TO GROUND PROTECTION:
Avoids ballast breakage in case of output shorts (for instance broken extension cable or defective internal high voltage cables)

CONSTANT OUTPUT LAMP POWER

QUARTZ GENERATED OUTPUT FREQUENCY
Automatically generating a square wave at 100Hz if supply is in 50Hz countries (PAL) or 120Hz if supply is in 60Hz countries (NTSC), but it is possible to modify the output frequency on the ballast SET UP (see DISPLAY).
Important to avoid Flicker in case of HIGH SPEED ELECTRONIC SHUTTER use (for instance Sport Events)
