Sony has released Firmware Update v2.0 for PTZ camera BRC-AM7. Firmware includes Multi-person framing mode, Face registration mode for subject prioritization, Additional function supports w/ RCP/MSU & CNA2
BRC-AM7 Firmware Update v2.0 includes key features:
Enhanced PTZ Auto Framing functions
• Lead Room Effect
• Multi-person Framing
• Face Registration
• Tracking Range: PTZ Auto Framing is performed only within the predefined area. This also allows users to exclude any unintended subjects.
• Detection Part added: [Ankle]
Functions for remote productions
• Additional functions with RCP/MSU (Support: Variable ND/Call/Area Indication (Gate)/AWB)
• Compatible with CNA-2 (Available with CNA-2 firmware Ver1.2 update planned to be announced later)
Enhanced functions for VR/AR systems
• Multiple outputs for free-d protocol
• Camera position offset data outputs for free-d protocol
Preset Position
• Compatible with Zoom Sync
• Time available for Pan-Tilt Speed Unit for preset recall
• Preset Position compatible with Clear Image Zoom ratio exceeding 1x
Other Features
• Enhanced camera functions such as:
- Tele Convert mode (1.5x)
- Interval Rec

- Soft Skin Effect
