Gorilla Group invests in 4K HDR master monitor

Film and video post-production house Gorilla Group has invested in a Sony BVM-HX310 4K HDR master monitor. It is being used as the master colour grading reference monitor at the groups headquarters in Cardiff Bay adjacent to BBC Wales Drama village.

Dome Productions chooses Calrec Apollo console for new SMPTE 2110 UHD OB truck

Canada-based Dome Productions has unveiled a new all-IP SMPTE 2110 OB mobile unit. Called Gateway, the truck is Domes first large scale, all IP, UHD/HDR unit and is currently being used for TSN and Rogers SportsNet on their hockey broadcasts. The New Sony FX3, A First Look At The Cinema Camera

Sony add new cinema camera ILME-FX3 in their Cinema Line Family. This is a quick look after one day with a newbie. In a nutshell Sony FX3 is the video version of the A7s III. They share the same sensor and processor and features like IBIS and 4K 120fps. IBC 2021 could take place in December 2021 if needed

IBC has announced its strategic plan for 2021, focusing on the return of a live event in Amsterdam this year. The show revealed plans to deliver a hybrid (physical and digital) event from 10th 13th September 2021 and unveiled a fall-back option in early December 2021.
